Today, enjoy your full-day religious visit to Potala Palace - the awe-inspiring Potala Palace, perched high above much of Lhasa, is the landmark of the city, Jokhang Temple - the spiritual center of Tibet and Barkhor Street - a circular street at the center of Lhasa, is the oldest street in a very traditional city of Tibet. It is a place where Tibetan culture, economy, religion, and arts assemble and a place to which a visit must be paid.

After breakfast, enjoy your sightseeing tour today that starts with a visit to Drepung Monastery - which was known for the high standards of its academic study, and was called the Nalanda of Tibet, a reference to the great Buddhist monastic university of India.
