Day 1: Visit the Terracotta Army Museum, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall, Muslim Bazaar
8:00 Hotel Pick-up
Your tour guide will fix the meeting time with you the day before the trip. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel at the agreed time in the morning.
9:00 Drive to Visit the Terracotta Army Museum
After collecting your group, you will be escorted to the Terracotta Army Museum by a 1-hour comfortable drive. On arrival, you will be guided to visit three excavated Pits and the Bronze Chariot and Horse Exhibition Hall. The 2,200-year-old wonders will show you the past glory of the Qin Dynasty in 220 BC.
13:00 Free Time for Lunch
Lunch is on your own as the restaurants nearby don’t meet our standards. It is recommended that you have a hearty breakfast and a light lunch. Your guide is happy to help you choose your preferred restaurant.
13:40 Drive to Visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda
After lunch, a 1-hour drive will bring you back to downtown Xi'an. You will then visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, where you will learn about Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty (618-907AD).
16:00 Visit the City Wall
Next, you will explore the ancient City Wall of Xi'an, where you can take a stroll, cycle around, or take a sightseeing cart at your own expense.
17:30 Drop Off at Muslim Bazaar or Hotel
After the sightseeing, you will be escorted back to your hotel or taken to the Muslim Bazaar. You can explore the busy alleys yourself to sample some local featured foods.
Day 2: Visit Hanyangling Mausoleum, Great Mosque, Shaanxi History Museum, Giant Wild Goose Pagoda
7:30 Hotel Pick-up
In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel.
8:30 Drive to Visit the Hanyangling Mausoleum
The first stop today is the 1,800-year-old Hanyangling Mausoleum, built for the Western Han emperor and his empress. Here you will also get close to the life in Western Han Dynasty 2,000 years ago by visiting the Spectra Vision program.
11:30 Free Time for Lunch and Visit the Great Mosque
Afterward, you will be taken to the Great Mosque located centrally in Xi'an City in the Muslim Quarter, where you will easily find a preferred local food restaurant for lunch. Your guide is willing to give you advice.
After lunch, you will be accompanied to visit the Great Mosque, one of the best-preserved Islamic mosques in China built over 1,270 years ago.
14:30 Drive to Visit the Shaanxi History Museum
Next, you will be guided to visit the Shaanxi History Museum, where 370,000 antiquities are collected. Your guide will explain the history and culture behind the relics in detail.
16:40 Drive to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda
Then you will have a 1.5-hour photo stop at the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a well-preserved ancient pagoda famous for its Buddhist importance in the Tang Dynasty.
17:30 Free time at the Pagoda Area or Hotel Drop-off
The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda Area is now the most popular site for both travelers and locals in Xi'an. At night visitors will enjoy the biggest musical fountain in Asia and many free classical music performances. If you are interested, you can ramble here and return to the hotel by yourself. Your guide is willing to tell you the way to your hotel at any time. If you aren't interested, you will be escorted to your hotel directly.
