One Day Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Tour

You will meet our guide and driver at your hotel in Lijiang. After a small talk, we will set out to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, considered the holiest mountain in local Naxi minority people's minds.

Upon arrival, we will initially spend a few minutes at Ganhaizi (Dry Sea Meadow) viewing the boundless prairie and looking up at the magnificent Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. You will capture the best scene of the snow mountain at the hillside Spruce Plateau, which is an alpine meadow embraced by lush spruce forests.

After that, we will take the ropeway to reach the Spruce Plateau on the hillside, which is regarded as the best place for shooting the spectacular scenery of Snow Mountain. You will also enjoy the splendid show, the Impression Lijiang, performed on an open-air stage against the snow mountain.

After lunch, continue our Lijiang day trip to the Baisha Village to admire the famous Baisha Murals which took more than 300 years from the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) to complete. Then we conclude the day with a lamasery, Yufeng Temple. Our guide will transfer you back to your hotel at the end of the day.

Visitors to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain are admitted by receipts for the Lijiang entrance fee only, so we will purchase it for you beforehand. If you are also interested in visiting the Black Dragon Pool Park in the north of Lijiang Old Town, we suggest you arrange it on the following day of this day trip to avoid doubling the entrance fee.
