One Day Guilin Longsheng Tour Of Longji Terrace Fields

Please get up early and have a hearty breakfast. At the appointed time, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the picturesque Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces, also known as Longji Terrace.

After about a 2-hour drive, you will arrive at the entrance for the Longji Terraces and transfer to an eco-sightseeing bus for another 40-minute drive to the rice terraces in Ping'an Village, where the most charming parts of the Longji Terraces are located.

Here you will be accompanied to take a moderate trek along the terraces to the Ping'an Zhuang Village. You will reach in about 40 to 60 minutes. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to stroll around to glimpse the local Zhuang peoples' unique wooden stilted houses. Lunch is on your own. Your expert guide is willing to give you helpful advice on the food choices in the village.

After the lunch break, you will proceed to the No. 2 Viewing Platform by a 20-minute walk. Here you will enjoy a fantastic bird's-eye view of the Longji Terraces beneath your feet and the fresh air. When the visit concludes, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Guilin by a private vehicle.

Friendly Tips:

1. It is recommended to wear a pair of comfortable walking shoes. Don't forget to prepare the sun protection.
2. The Longsheng terrace hiking usually ends at the No. 2 Viewing Platform, but if you can summon the energy, it will be a memorable experience of another 1-hour trek to the No.1 Viewing Platform. Please feel free to let your guide know in advance.
