In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Guilin and escort you to the first attraction - the Reed Flute Cave, in a chauffeured vehicle. You will indulge in the underground karst cave full of unbelievable formations of stalagmites and stalactites.
Then you will continue to the beautiful Ronghu Lake, situated centrally in the city. You will be accompanied to explore the Ancient South Gate along with a centuries-old banyan tree. Next, you will head to Shanhu Lake, where you can view two elegant pagodas at a distance. After this, a 10-minute drive will take you to the East-West Alley. Or you can take a 20-minute walk there, the only historical quarter in Guilin featuring well-preserved structures from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Lunch is at your own expense. Your guide is glad to give you some helpful advice on the restaurant choice. After lunch, you could stroll in the East-West Alley for 1 or 2 hours to check out some attractions off-the-beaten-track.
The last stop is the Elephant Trunk Hill, a must-see landmark famous for its elephant-like shape and the fascinating scenery around.
After the visits, you will be escorted back to your hotel.
