08:00 - 09:00 Hotel Pick-up
We will inform you of the pick-up time before 8:00 p.m. before the tour. In the morning, your tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Shanghai and take you to Zhujiajiao Water Town in a comfortable vehicle.
09:00 - 12:00 Drive to Visit Zhujiajiao Water Town
You will arrive at the 1700-year-old Zhujiajiao Water Town after a 1-hour drive and visit the area during the whole morning, which avoids the peak time. With your guide, you will take a stroll to escape away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis and enjoy the picturesque scenery comprising quaint buildings and peaceful canals.
Your guide will show you the Fangsheng Bridge, the Post Office of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911 AD), and the Kezhi Garden. Besides, you will also enjoy a traditional boat trip on the river from Kezhi Garden to North Street. After the boat ride, you can wander around the quaint streets.
12:00 - 13:00 Free Time for Lunch in Zhujiajiao
Lunch is at your own expense. You can try some authentic Chinese food per your interest. Your guide is willing to give you some helpful advice on the choice of restaurant.
13:00 Drive Back to Downtown Shanghai
After lunch, you will be dropped off at the Yu Garden subway station, where you will make your way to the hotel. Or you can keep exploring at your own leisurely pace.
